Fair & transparent draws
Don't take our word for it. Every draw is held live on video, in the open — you can watch the winners picked. And draws run on random.org come back cryptographically signed, so anyone can independently verify them.
How it works
1. Every ticket gets a number
When the draw closes, every sold ticket — paid or postal — holds a unique number in the same pool.
2. The draw is held live on video
Every winner is picked on a live stream, in front of everyone. Nothing happens behind closed doors — you can watch it as it happens or afterwards on the recording.
3. random.org draws are cryptographically signed
When a draw uses the random.org Signed API, the winning numbers come back with a digital signature. The admin can't choose or influence the outcome, and any later change would break that signature.
4. Verify for yourself
Open any finished competition to watch the draw. On random.org draws we also publish the numbers and signature — paste them into random.org's official form and confirm the result yourself.
Equal odds: paid or postal
Free postal entries go into exactly the same draw as paid tickets. Tickets carry no mark of where they came from, so the free route has identical odds — guaranteed in code, not just promised.
