Cookie Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (local storage in the browser) we use on this site, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements the Privacy Policy.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a site saves in your browser. In addition to cookies, we also use local storage in the browser (localStorage) to remember preferences and the state of the basket. In this policy, we refer to both as "cookies" for simplicity.

What we use and what we DO NOT use

We want to be clear: at this moment we use only strictly necessary cookies and preference cookies. We DO NOT use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not integrate third-party tracking tools (no Google Analytics, no social media pixels).

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These are essential for the functioning of the site and your account. Without them, the site cannot function properly, so they cannot be disabled from the consent banner.

  • access_token — keeps you logged into your account. Secure (httpOnly), lasts approximately 60 minutes.
  • refresh_token — renews the session so you are not logged out frequently. Secure (httpOnly), lasts up to 30 days.
  • Shopping Basket — remembers tickets added to the basket on this device (local storage, until you empty the basket or clear browser data).
  • Age Confirmation — remembers that you have confirmed you are over 18, so we do not ask you at every visit.
  • Consent Record — remembers your choice from the cookie banner (accepted / rejected), so we do not re-display it.

2. Preference cookies (functional)

These remember choices that enhance your experience. The site works without them, but it would forget certain settings.

  • NEXT_LOCALE and LOCALE_CHOSEN — remember the chosen language (Romanian / English). Lasts approximately 1 year.
  • Closed banners and notifications — remember if you have closed the promotional bar, exit promotion, countdown bar for a competition, or app installation invitation, so they do not reappear immediately.
  • Sound setting on the Wheel of Fortune — remembers if you have disabled the sound.

3. Third-party cookies

We do not place third-party marketing cookies. However, there are two situations where an external service may set its own cookies:

  • Embedded video content (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook) — videos load only after you press “Play”. Only then can the video provider set its cookies, according to its policy. If you do not play any video, these do not activate.
  • Images — are delivered through a content delivery network (Cloudinary), used only for displaying images; it does not set tracking cookies.

When we activate online payment, the chosen payment processor may set strictly necessary cookies for the secure processing of the transaction. We will update this policy at that time.

Your consent

On your first visit, we display a banner through which you can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies remain always active, as the site does not function without them. You can change your decision at any time by deleting the site data from your browser — the banner will reappear.

How to control cookies

You can manage or delete cookies and local storage directly from your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete them. Remember that if you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to log in or complete an order.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy and security.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when we add new features (for example, online payment). We will modify the “Last updated” date at the top with each change.
